rosco
I plan on replacing a door latch on a 2011 Fusion SE. I know I will need to drill out some rivets on the inner door panel in order to access the latch. Doing a google search, I found an old post and a reply by a guy that replaced has window regulator. He gives the part number for the rivets from NAPA (Balkamp #665-2438). He also says that regular hand rivet guns will not work for these bigger rivets but said he got the right tool for under $20 at Harbor Freight (although he did not specify what type). Has anyone here drilled out and replaced the inner door rivets? What type of rivet tool is required for these larger body rivets?
