alexdummy
Who knows where the airbag control module is located for the steering wheel airbag in a 2011 SEL. I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks

alexdummy
I removed the center console and also looked under the dash and it is not there. The first gen and third gens apparently are different since theirs are located under the center console.
eGuru
After you find it, what are you planning to do with it? What symptom are you trying to correct? Did you have a collision that caused the airbag to deploy?
alexdummy
It needs to get reset, car was in an accident and drivers airbag deployed.

I assume you replaced the airbag (with a new one? from a recycler?). What is the symptom - error message? Are you expecting to find a physical "reset" switch?
alexdummy
Airbag was replaced. SRS (airbag control module) needs to get reset so if it got in an accident airbags will deploy again. Airbag light will stay on constantly and not deploy until it's reset.
