futurefordfusion Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 (edited) 2012 Fusion SEL. Heated mirror, but I don't have the blind spot indicator on the mirrors. I do have the small convex mirror for blind spots. While parked, I noticed that my driver's side view mirror glass has two thin cracks in it. (The main glass, not the small convex mirror). Something caused it to crack in the bottom center, not sure what happened. The car has been mostly parked in my driveway due to no commuting, so it's strange that anything happened. Has anyone replaced the mirror glass? There's a lot of conflicting information on the Internet, but I'd love to hear a reputable source for replacement OEM glass and how to replace. Just point the mirror all the way down and gently pull the glass out of the housing. Disconnect the wiring terminals. Reverse the procedure to install the new glass.
