Sticks231 Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 2013 ford fusion recently had check charging system light come on. Replaced alternator amd battery, light still on. The advance track warning came on dash, along with park brake malfunction, see manual wrench light, and power steering assist fault will show on dash occasionally while driving, and then go off again. The power steering assist does occasionally cut out. Seems as though systems are not communicating. At first showed no codes, but just got a code of P0620 - generator control circuit. The Traction Control and Steering assist has been going out intermediately. Well today while my wife was preparing to pull off the "Steering Assist Fault Service Required" notification came on along with the "Park Break Malfunction Service Now" notification. The power steering went out. I disconnected the negative to the battery and reconnected it about 5min later and all was reset. Well after I turned the car off and restarted the same indicator lights were back. There are several different causes that I've read in the forums but neither had the exact same indicator lights (except for your post). I did something about checking the grounds and also check for eroding wiring in the attached to the ABS sensors located in the front wheel wells. Have you found anything?
