Clear Adaptive Transmission Tables (Shifting Issues)

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 2.5L. I just bought it 2 weeks ago, change the transmission fluid following YouTube videos and also the spark plugs.

First questions: When checking the trans fluid the lever mark is different depending on which way you insert the dip stick in. The fluid is at different level on both sides of the dip stick. If I insert it one way it shows between the fill range and the back of the stick the fluid is higher. If I turn it 90 degrees and check it shows on the Full line and lower on the back side. I decided to go with the side that shows full, since I put 5 quarts and I don't want to overfill the transmission. Even on the non full measure... it is still close to full and in the fill area. Below is a picture of the dip stick and the red mark is where the trans fluid is depending on how I insert it.

Question two: The transmission seems to have recorded driving habits from previous owners and transmission has a light delay shifting. I have an ELM327 WiFi OBD2 that I can use with Forscan. The ELM327 v1.5 does not have the switch/toggle option for high or medium programming. Can I clear the adaptive driving safely with my OBD2 reader? or Do I need the one with the switch/toggle? I don't know if that programming option requires the high or the medium options.

I was able to reset or clear the Adaptive Transmission Tables. Ran the car and it seems to be running better. So the answer to my second question is yes you can clear the Adaptive Transmission Tables with Forscan and a WiFi OBD2 Reader ELM327. I am researching on how to update the software/firmware of the TCM. For the first question, I used the OBD2 reader to read the transmission fluid temp and was able to get it to 185 degrees and the reading on the dip stick was full and not overfilled. The manual says to get an accurate reading the fluid temp has to be between 185-200 degrees. I did notice the dip stick was bent and may have caused a misreading.

Got those two questions resolved. Now I have to check the rear view mirror, because it's making a raddled and find out if I the TCM has the latest software and if I should look into updating the software.

Just wanted to mention that after clearing the Adaptive Transmission Tables.... The car no longer has the delay in shifting and is shifting is smooth. If anyone has recently bought a used Ford vehicle with these type of transmission and are having shifting issues.... Clear the Adaptive Transmission Tables, because it could be that. The transmission has learned the previous owner driving habits. I would clear the Adaptive Transmission Tables  anyways when buying a used Ford vehicle, just to have a fresh start of the transmission learning the new driving habits.
