Hey guys, just started modding my 2017 fusion 2.0 EcoBoost. Recently got a new set of wheels and tires and now i want to make it sound better. Im thinking of changing the muffler. Any advice what would be better. Dont want something screaming loud cuz those or litreal cop magnets. Just want something louder than the stock one and shoud sound decent. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hi manav. The most often used aftermarket mufflers are made by Borla, Magnafow and Flowmaster.

In my online experience, Borla is the considered the best, but also the most expensive...excellent quality, good sound, no drone.

Next is Magnaflow...less money, more drone.

And then Flowmaster...least expensive, but some find the drone intolerable.

And I assume you already know this, but just in case; Replacing the muffler will not give you any performance upgrade. No increase in power, etc.  Do it for the sound if you like, but it will not increase performance.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
