Rick Dean
I have a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi. When I first got it when I would plug it in I would get 21 miles on a full recharge. Then it has gone down slowly to 16 miles. Is this something I need to be concerned about? I only have 56698 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated.
bbf2530
Hi Rick. The "Lounge" sub-forum is for general discussion of off-topic subjects. So your post will be moved to the "Ford Fusion Energi" sub-forum, where it will receive more appropriate attention. On the subject of your question though: How long have you owned your Fusion Energi? It is difficult to give an accurate answer when we do not know what time frames you are comparing, along with other unknown to us variables. For example...coming off the cold winter, it would be normal that battery mileage will have dropped, and it should begin to pick up with warmer weather. There is an extended warranty on the Energi powertrain. If you feel something is wrong, it may be best to schedule a service appointment. Let us know how you make out and good luck. drolds1
If you peruse this section of the forum, you'll find several threads dealing with members' differing experiences with EV-only mileage. As noted above, there are numerous variables that can impact your mileage. You might also want to consider the dedicated Ford Fusion Energi Forum, where you'll encounter more owners of that model than found here.
