Ford fus Posted June 3, 2021 Share Posted June 3, 2021 We bought a 2012 for our daughter and the sunroof wont open. It has developed a leak and now I need to get opened to see if drains are plugged. Mechanic put a switch on to see if that was fault but no changes so we believe the motor is the failure. Where in the world is the motor for the sunroof? Ford fus Posted June 5, 2021 Author Share Posted June 5, 2021 Thanks for the response and diagram! I used this diagram originally and couldn't find the motor. I removed the done light assembly and I am able to verify that the motor is not located in the front of the sunroof. Fuse looks good but I need to test and verify that there is power going to switch.
