Blind Internet diagnosis would seem to point towards some sort of short/electrical issue, due to the "spilled glass of water". But exactly what it could be that would affect your AC like that beats me. If you want to try some self help, you could take apart the console to access the wiring, then disconnect, dry out and reconnect all connectors. However, this may take some professional help.
