FrankN209
Hello, I have a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport and I'm getting engine code P0202 - Faulty fuel injector 2 Fuel Injector 2 harness is open or Shorted Fuel injector 2 circuit poor electrical connection Can someone tell me where the number 2 cylinder is at? I can't find it anywhere online. I can change the injector myself and see if that's the problem. drolds1
It's the first cylinder on the left in the front bank. See here. Be aware that changing just the injector may not fix the problem. As you've noted, it could be another issue:
FrankN209
Thank you for your help! I called 2 ford dealerships and they both told me it was the back bank on the left, next to the firewall....dummies

I have to drive my car to the dealership, which is about 15m away through town. Will this be ok with it missing and running rough? Should I unplug the injector and coil pack?

Technically speaking and according to Ford: If it is not blinking, it should be okay to drive it that far. If it is blinking, the vehicle should to be driven. You can verify this information and advice in your Owners Manual. Let us know how you make out and good luck. Everything is under warranty.
FrankN209
I ended up changing it myself. It's easy to do. Everything is running fine, no more engine lights. Ford was giving me a hassle saying it wasn't under warranty. They replaced the engine, but used the old injectors and the new warrarnty doesn't cover the old injectors. Just stupid. if anyone is interested, the correct cylinder location and firing order is in this diagram. This is for a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport 3.5L

I also have a diagnostic code (P0302) that is calling out a problem (misfire) on cylinder 2. Is this code saying that cylinder ID 2 (rear, middle) has a problem, or that the second one in the firing order (ID 4: front, left) has a problem?
