digitalgpbandit
I need to replace the transmission lines on my '12 2.5 SEL. When I went to do my oil change I noticed the underside of the car was soaked. Traced it back to the transmission cooler lines under the radiator which were rotten looking and soaked. Also found my trans fluid to be on the low side, but still in the useable range, but am going to top it off with some LV I have leftover at home. Are there better replacements options than the Ford ones like stainless steel or is that just it? The Ford guy told me its common for these to go bad.
digitalgpbandit
I didn't want to keep waiting incase the line fully let go. I got them replaced with the ford lines & did the upper ones going into the trans as well. $600 down the drain, but hopefully these last. Sure pays to regularly check the fluids.
