Ecoboost falls flat on its face during acceleration

2016 Titanium with 56,000 miles on it.  This started a few months ago.  Sitting at a light in S mode I decided to do some spirited acceleration off the line.  These engines rev so quick out of first gear and the tach is not is a good location so I sometime rev to redline and the trans controller shifts it into second automatically.  Sometimes, and it's seems to be happening more often that not these days, once it shifts to second (or if I shift with the paddles) the engine just bogs down, no acceleration the sputters a bit and picks back up.  No codes or anything.  I think it's either running out of fuel pressure or boost under load.  Anyone had this problem and what was the fix?
