BECM Check Engine and Charging

I have a 2019 Energi Titanium. A couple of times check engine and yellow wrench light came on. The wrench will go out quickly and check engine light stays on for day or so. Codes indicate a BECM error with batteries.

I took it in a few months ago to Ford. They had to call Ford corporate and were told it was because I am charging with 110V cable. If I did it with 220V supply it would not occur. Also that I should not let the EV battery drop below about 20% left. The latter is a bit challenging because remembering to put it into EV later mode to prevent using all the charge is tough to remember.

They said they did a battery charging rebalance with 220V charger.

Anyone experienced anything similar?
