Jesse 69
I have changed my 2016 fusion rear brakes pads without putting it on maintenance mode and now when I brake it makes a knocking sound when slowing down to a complete stop. I have checked the calipers to see if they were loose but they are not. I don’t know if there is something that I should try to fix is problem
twiggy144
Putting the electric brake in maintenance mode allows the system to learn the pressure or contact point of the pads with the rotor when resuming from maintenance mode to normal mode. II Suggest you try it. The procedure is shown here: Edited November 21, 2021 by twiggy144
