97_hellcat
I have a 2014 Ford Fusion titanium I bought used a few months ago. Since I’ve bought it, the intelligent access sensors on the passenger side have never worked, but driver side is fine. Does the passenger side even have the intelligent access sensors? Is it supposed to lock and unlock by touch, or is that only for the driver side?
AlpineBird
I have the exact same issue on my 2013 Titanium. I scanned for codes in forscan and found two: B1382:11-0A "Right Front Door Handle Proximity Sensor - Circuit Short to Ground" U1000:00-0A "Solid State Driver Protection Activated - Driver Disabled" So, it seems like something between the BCM and the passenger side door handle is shorted out. I may try swapping door handles from one side to the other to see if the problem follows the handle.
drolds1
The handles are not swappable side to side. They're mirror images and have different part #s for R&L.
lexington523
I'm having pretty much the same problem. The passenger site touch locks work fine but the drivers side do not. The entire driver side including the touch pad do not work and seem to have no power. I have spent quite a bit of time googling the issue but can't find much of an answer. I have learned that there is a door control module in each door and they goes to the body control module under the dash board on the drivers side. I have checked all of the related fuses and they are ok. Does anyone have any idea what could kill the power of the keyless entry on one side of the car but not the other? Are there any other modules involved aside from the door control module and the body control module? Any help would be appreciated.
akirby
There is a receiver(antenna) on each side that senses the fob near the doors.
