Codes

That did not fix the problem. I replaced that sensor and the MAP sensor. It is throwing codes p0236(turbo boost sensor), p0106(MAP) , and p06A7. The P06A7 code is related to the PCM. Error Code P06A7 is defined as Sensor Reference Voltage “B” Circuit Range/Performance. This is a generic trouble code, meaning it applies to all vehicles equipped with OBD-II system. The car won't start. If you clear the codes the car will start and immediately shut off and throw the codes again. I am at a loss and this is my daily driver to and from work. I am currently borrowing a friends car that they don't currently need. Any help is greatly appreciatated.

2017 Fusion SE 1.5L eco boost. Wont start throws codes p06A7 and p0236. I know what both codes mean. Does anyone know where the Turbocharger Boost Sensor is located? It is my only car and I had to call off work to try and figure this out.

Hi Chris. You need hands on diagnostic help, which is more than can be offered here. All we  can do in a blind Internet diagnosis is tell you to follow the troubleshooting tree for each code, which you already know.

One question...You don't mention mileage. Are you outside the 5 year/60,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty? If not, this could very well be covered under warranty, so make a service appointment.

I'm sure other members will jump in if they can help.

Let us know who you make out and good luck.

No it is not under warranty. My car is at 110k miles. I am the original owner and all maintnenance has been up to date and records to go with it. It is at a mechanic shop. It has been there for almost a week and they still can't figfure out what is causing the issue either.

Hi Chris. You may need to bring your Fusion to a Ford Dealer for service. It is possible the shop you are using does not have the proper diagnostic tools. Not all independent shops have the diagnostic tools/computers to repair all vehicle makes. But we can not determine that over the Internet.

Keep us updated and good luck.
