piratepress
Just saw this custom Fusion Turbo for sale. The paint job isn't for me, but I'm curious if anyone has any details on how much power it makes? https://www.ebay.com/itm/275375338241

piratepress
Jeez, 400hp is awesome but you have to wonder if they beefed up the internals in the engine or transmission. I can't imagine those items holding up very long if they're stock. FWIW, it looks like it sold for $16,900 which is cheaper than a 2017 Fusion sport with 325hp.
drolds1
The posting showed only 2400 miles, but there's no way to know if that was put on before or after the build. A red flag is that there's no VIN, which generally means it can't be licensed for the street. It may not even be driveable. I agree that without serious upgrades, the stock powertrain would never hold up to 400 hp, especially a stock 6F35 transaxle. Back in the day, I was a Lincoln LS owner and member of the Lincoln LS Owner's Club (still am). In 2002 McLaren debuted a tricked out McLaren LSE, complete with an Eaton supercharger, 6-speed manual trans and lots of other goodies. I saw it at the NY Auto Show, and we were all excited. They promised to start taking orders. Well, that never happened, and we later found out that the Eaton supercharger was in the trunk! Moral of the story is that you never know with these awesome sounding show cars.
WKelley
It seems very strange there is no VIN, kinda hard to even consider it worth much more than spare parts if that is true. I did a quick google and they built it in 2007 and they are also a Ford dealership, I find it hard to believe there's no paperwork for it, dammit now I'm curious, lol. piratepress
Did some digging and found that the VIN is 3FAHP01137R270278 from a previous auction. It looks like the car is still for sale with an asking price of $23,995. Also, it seems this is the turbo kit that is on the car: https://www.ebay.com/itm/202975933018?hash=item2f424ef25a:g:TOoAAOSwAEhd1vBV
