No engine cover or hood insulation?

Hey all, 

 

Just bought a '19 SE with the 1.5L, super excited.

 

As I get to know the car I noticed that there is no engine cover or hood insulation.  Looking at Google images of open Fusion hoods, it appears some do and some don't have these.  Is this normal?  Anyone have any info?

Hi Czykats and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. Those features vary by engine and trim level. It would seem a 1.5L SE does not get those.

I did use the search function and saw that post which is 2.5 years old and did not contain a definitive answer.  I though perhaps more information may have come available since.

In that case, instead of creating a new thread, one would post in the original thread and ask if any updated information was available.  However, the answer provided seems pretty clear to me.  Furthermore:
