Hi, I am having trouble with my 2014 Ford Fusion Energi.  The check engine light came on when

I was running errands around home. I called the dealership and they told me if it was not driving rough and the Check Engine Light was not flashing I could bring it in after I finished errands.  A few minutes later a Wrench light came on so I called the dealership back and the Service Man said that was  the Power Train. He said I could continue driving it but, if either light started flashing to stop and call a tow truck. It never did and continued to drive perfectly.  The Dealer Service Representative called today and told me the gasket around the trunk was wearing out and humidity caused two fans to short out so, they could not keep the battery cool.  It has never run hot and there is no evidence of condensation or mold in the trunk.
it only has 75,000 miles and has just been the perfect car.   The cost of replacing the two fans and rubber gasket will be 2,400.  I am cautious about this analysis and cost.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Cynthia Sledge
