Tire recommendations

Hi,

I have a 2019 Ford Fusion with 235/45r18 tires. I had michelin energy savers as my stock tires which lasted me 65k.

I need to replace them and was wondering if there was a cheaper tire option that would provide a similar function

Tirerack.com is a good research tool.  Cooper seems to be a less expensive but still good brand.

Hi Mac and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. I second akirby's Tire Rack recommendation. Use their Tire Decision Guide to get an idea what fits your needs, then either purchase through them or shop around for better pricing (although Tire Racks pricing is very good).

 

Also, if you are a Costco member, they have excellent tire pricing. However, their tire manufacturer and model choices are very limited compared to The Tire Rack.

 

Recommendations for simply a "cheaper" tire are difficult, because you can just go "cheap" and get a poor performing tire, or have a balance of price and all-around performance.
