dana mills Posted November 6, 2022 Share Posted November 6, 2022 Hi all I have a 2014 ecoboost. Approximately a month ago it began to have problems. It would run perfectly for some time anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 days. It would then start to idle low and erratic and then die like it ran out of gas. I did code reads it suggested map and air intake sensors I replaced them all and the problem continued. I replaced spark plugs, air filter still same problems. I then got a wild idea to check my injectors and they're covered in various levels of oil and sand yes sand. My oil is so thin it runs off the dipstick and smells of bad fuel. My fuel smells old and bad and when I poured some into a jar and let it sit it became murky like lemonade and had large bubbles of some other fluid in it. I have my speculation of what is going on but I want some feedback if possible anything helps! Thank you.
