If you tested the vehicle and the results were that the battery/alternator is bad, then that is the place to start your diagnostics. It does not matter if it was "fine the night before". Every vehicle is running "fine the night before" it breaks down. Have the battery checked first. It is the easiest and least expensive fix. Have it professionally load tested. Not an old fashioned battery meter test. Those tests are no longer accurate on modern automobiles. If the problem is not the battery, then have the alternator tested. Hopefully it will simply be a failed battery. Out of curiosity, how old is the battery? Also, it would be easier for me and others to understand and help, if you try to use more punctuation instead one long run-on sentence. Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Sorry was Ina hurry,so re the car, when I try and turn it over it doesn't crank normal. It sounds like it isn't getting enough power, even with charger and or jump pack..I was more curious about the way its starting, can a bad battery cause it to sound like that when trying to start? Usually it just clicks if the battery is low..I will try a new battery first and go from there...Also I just changed the water pump, thermostat. The temp go's hot for a few miles then will run at normal temp, upon touching the motor it won't be very hot,I read something about temp Gage being faulty. I have to put coolant in it daily,no water in engine and am not seeing it leaking out, could a hose be clogged??
WKelley
IF you are losing coolant and you see no leak then it is very likely burning it. Get a radiator pressure tester and find the leak before doing anything else. When the temps fluctuate and runs hot that is not a good sign. Hoses almost never clog, I've never removed a clogged coolant hose in my 25yrs mechanic work. You really need to make sure itis not leaking coolant into the cylinders, that's a sure fire way for the engine to eat itself and break things.
