2010 Ford fusion transmission died and I just bought a 2013 Ford fusion. My tires on the 2010 are nearly new.

Is there any chance my 2010 tires / wheels will fit on my new car? I would hate for them to go to waste.

Hi ArcRayne and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. The 2010 wheels will not fit on the 2013. They have a different lug pattern among other things.

There is a chance the 2010 tires may be able to be used on the 2013 wheels, if they are the correct size. What size wheels/tires are on your 2010 and 2013?

Get back to us with more information and good luck.

Thanks I figured as much. What about the tires?

I included the two tire tags for you.

Hi ArcRayne. If you are asking if a 235/50-17 tire and a 225/50-17 tire will fit/swap on the 17" 2010, and/or the 17" 2013 wheels, the answer is yes. ?

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Right I want the 225/50-17 tires to go on the 2013 fusion. Will that mess with any computer stuff? Speedometer, etc.

I would hate to put them on as a quick fix when it could be unwise / cause problems down the road.

Perhaps it would help me if you explained the numbers to me. Thanks again!

Hi ArcRayne. The overall diameter difference will not be nearly enough to worry about. They will be slightly smaller overall, so will fill out the wheelwells slightly less than the 235/50-17's, so take that into consideration.

You can see all the numbers, including speedometer error, by clicking on the "Tire Comparison" tab and filling in the tire sizes here: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
