kt baron
my car has been leaking a bit of trans fluid from below since about 3 months ago (i got it in august). more recently i noticed an engine oil leak from behind the passenger side of the engine. it is getting bigger. anyone know what this could be? it looks like timing cover but i’m not sure what i need to replace. as for the trans, i know there’s no dipstick so how can i maintain my fluid levels with this leak?

bbf2530
Hi ktbaron and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. Is your 2017 Fusion still within the 5 year/60,000 mile Powertrain Warranty? Good luck. Edited January 18, 2023 by bbf2530

Too bad about being outside the mileage limits. But for future reference, all owners are covered by the manufacturers warranties, not only the first. Hopefully one of our tech members will jump in to assist you. Keep us updated and good luck.
mozz
Probably a axle shaft seal, other models of Fords are known for this. That being said, there is a way to add fluid, there is a breather where you add fluid if doing a trans fluid change.
