mmk14 Posted February 15, 2023 Share Posted February 15, 2023 Can a factory cd player be installed in a 2019 fusion that didn't come with the cd player? I know the radio trim piece will need to be replaced and that the cd player and receiver are in the same unit. The car has the sync 3 with nav. jpohlman Posted March 23, 2023 Share Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) Platinum and Ti came with a CD, Ford got rid of it along the way for the SE. You would need an ACM from a 2016-2017 with the CD along with an FCIM that matches your car and has the slot in the plastic. Use Forscan to drop your AB into the "new" ACM & FCIM, the go into the APIM to enable CD as a source.
