I don't even know what to do anymore Hi Amosovmaxim and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. There are multiple possible causes for a P1299 DTC, and the only way to find what is causing yours is to follow the proper troubleshooting steps You can find some information here: https://mechanicbase.com/trouble-code/p1299/ And more here: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=DTC+p1299#ip=1 For example, when is the last time you had the radiator flushed and changed the coolant in your Fusion? Bottom line is...Sometimes we need to enlist the help of a good shop/tech to fix our vehicle, otherwise we may wind up throwing parts and money at the problem and still not fixing it. If the troubleshooting steps do not help, you may need to have a shop you trust have a look at your Fusion. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Amosovmaxim
The most interesting thing is that I myself am not a bad mechanic. Replaced antifreeze. and error p1299 I could not find in the system. but when I do a test for outliers, it remains in the permanent code

I am not sure what you mean by "...and error p1299 I could not find in the system." You previously stated, "...there is a permanent error code p1299 reset everything the sensor replaced." If replacing the sensor resetting and/or going through several drive cycles did not eliminate the CEL and/or DTC code, then the likely scenario is that the sensor was not the cause. Good luck.

Hi guys. In the end, I did not solve the problem, I checked everything. I changed the thermostat and I don't understand. I can't pass the smog check. The only thing I noticed is that the cooling fan always works

Malfunctioning cylinder head temperature sensor Defective wiring to cylinder head temperature sensor Low coolant levels/leak Failed thermostat Failed coolant temperature sensor Failed water pump Clogged radiator ...sometimes it is better to enlist the help of a good shop or tech that you trust. I am sure one of our tech members will jump in if they feel they can assist you. Keep us updated and good luck. EvanH
I have this issue, only mine did overheat, not horribly or for long, but it did after a low speed accident. I replaced the water pump, thermostat and radiator. The car runs great; no hesitation, no leaks, temperature right where it should be. Went to smog it the next month (in Cali) and there 1299. Checked the wiring, replaced the sensor but it’s still hanging around and won’t pass smog because of it. Any other suggestions for the spare time mechanically inclined? Before paying for an ECU or pro? thanks.
WKelley
IF you overheated I would start with a compression test as well as testing the coolant for exhaust gases. You could also start by getting someone to scan it and look at live data and see what temperatures the computer is seeing. Check wiring see if anything looks melted around the coolant temp sensor.
