Bctoasters
Looking to buy a used 2013 Fusion SE for my 17 y.o. son. Question I have is, is this something I should be concerned with? Is it easy/cheap to replace? Thanks!

Otherwise it could be cumbersome crawling around under the vehicle, even on jack-stands. Not really difficult, but more so than on a lift. Cost is something you can get an idea of by stopping by the Parts Department at your local Ford Dealers and asking for the prices and part numbers of the pieces you need. Keep in mind you may need to also replace the fasteners. Keep in mind that most Dealerships ask MSRP/list price, but prices are negotiable. So once you have their pricing, you can negotiate prices with them, and/or take the part numbers and do some online shopping at the many online Ford Parts sellers. Also remember to Factor in shipping costs, since large pieces like that may be expensive to ship. Or alternately, call online Ford Parts sellers, tell them what you need and ask them for pricing. Let us know how you make out and good luck.

I looked online & am uncertain because I'm seeing, "engine splash guard", "lower splash guard", etc. Wish I had a better pic, but.......

It is an under-body shield/under-body splash shield of some name/type or another. There are several underneath our vehicles. However, I am not sure of the exact part description for that particular one. If no one else jumps in to help, simply stop by the Parts Department of your local Ford Dealer and ask them. Just have your VIN handy, and they will be able to pull it up in a few minutes. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
