Okay guys I've got a problem my 2020 fusion did an automated update a couple of weeks ago to the most recent version of sync. Yesterday I had the guys on the Facebook group say check your vin for the recall that just came up.  So i did, the website also told me that I need another sync update. Well I go out to my car to check if there is and realize auto updates is grayed out wtf. I heard of this being a thing on sync 4 not 3

Hi Roxas. WiFi updates are problematic (at best) for SYNC 3. It is far better to use the Ford SYNC 3 update website for updates, and then use the USB update method if any are available.

It is also possible (maybe even probable in this case) that your previous update has not yet registered on the Ford  SYNC 3 update website. Especially if you did not go back to the site and upload the "XML" file to the Ford SYNC 3 update website, after you performed the update.

Give it a little more time to update and let us know how you make out.

Goodl uck.
