I have a 2017 Sport 3.5L and smashed into something on the highway. Immediately after the accident I pulled over to find coolent pissing out. 13k later at the autobody shop and they are telling me there is no leaks...

I haven't picked the car up yet and will be checking it over before I leave the shop but my question is, where is the rad located is it behind or in front of the AC condenser and trans cooler?

Hi Sullyslays and welcome to the Ford Fusion Forum. Sorry to hear about your accident. However, would you please verify what model year Fusion and engine you actually have? The 2017 Fusion Sport had a 2.7L EcoBoost engine, and there was no 3.5L engine available in the 2017 Fusion at all.

Good luck.

Regardless of engine, the A/C condenser is always in front of (or beside) the radiator.  It must be in the airflow to do its job efficiently.  More info. Note also, the radiator is much larger than the condenser, thus easily identified.  BTW, the trans cooler is housed in the radiator.

You are correct, that is my fault for posting in the wrong section. Only saw the v6 portion of forum title and went with it.

Thank you, I thought it was always in the front but the autobody shop is trying to tell me otherwise and saying they don't see any damage so must not be damaged. I'm going to look at the car tomorrow. Worst case I'll take it to Ford and get them to check ac and cooling systems over and bill it back to insurance. (already approved) because I have pictures and video of it leaking.
