Part# for LF axle, G6M fluid capacity?

These cars are known for a leaking LF axle seal on the 6F35 automatics, the fix being a kit that includes a new axle, seal and bushing.

Mine's a 2.5L with the Mazda G6M 6-speed manual, and unfortunately, there's not much information available on them.

From looking around on the internet and RockAuto, I believe the Motorcraft# for the axle kit on the 2.5L automatic is TX-683?  Can anyone confirm that it's the same for the manual G6M?

Also, neither the owners manual nor the dealership tech manuals list a fluid capacity for the G6M.  Could someone verify if 5.9 qts of XTM5QS is correct?

Thanks,

Looking on RockAuto I don't even see c/v axle seal.  I also have the 6sp manual, parts are very expensive and very hard to find.  I had to pay $450 for the speedo sensor.

I used just over 3 liters to refill my transmission.

I cannot find any part number for the axle seal, try going to Ford and have them run your VIN, they should at least have a part # although I would not be surprised if it's near impossible to get.

Thanks for the info regarding the fluid.

I called the dealership last week, providing the last 8 digits of the VIN.  The bushing and seal are no longer available separate, and the parts rep told me the axle kit was obsolete.
