WesD
I have this 2010 fusion se I've had for 4 years now its been a great car until 6 months ago when i changed oil. it had a lot of oil in cylinders 1&2. after changing plugs. It had a hard start with oil in the cylinders. my question is would that have caused a valve to go bad. The check engine light randomly flashes every few miles causing it to loose all power pull codes of random misfire and misfire on 1&2. I have since then changed the coils. plugs again, valve cover gaskets, injectors, ecm, map sensor, mass sensor, throttle body. probably more I'm forgetting. I'm not sure where to go from here with car any suggestions
WKelley
Time for a compression/leakdown test. If you filled the cylinder with oil and did not clear it out before putting in the plugs you may have bent something. Oil does not compress. If the compression/leakdown passes then it's time to try and figure out what is what. You changed so many parts it is going to be tough to tell what is actually wrong. You would be wise to put all the old parts back on other than the plugs. Mis-gapped plugs can cause misfires too.
