Marty Posted October 2, 2023 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Anyone else know about the known issue with coolant leakage into the 4th cylinder? I have a Ford Fusion 2017 with 100,800 miles. Immaculately cared for until engine light turned on a few months ago. Took it to 2 Ford dealerships and they all said the same thing. Sent a letter to Ford Motor Company in Dearborn and they said they can't do anything unless a recall is called for, in which case to save my receipts. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WKelley Posted October 6, 2023 Share Posted October 6, 2023 THe Ecoboost 1.6 and 2.0 are known to have issues with bad engines, the 2.5 is not know for any particular coolant failures in the few minutes searching I did. Unfortunately, North American cars are built sub par in quality, they fail early and have problems that just should not be.
