primerib
Ford told me I needed my left wiper motor replaced as my wipers were not working. Occasionally, just the left wiper would go to the top of the windshield and stop. One would not move at all. I replaced both wiper motors today, and at first they just made little movements in place at the bottom of the windshield. Then I tried to adjust them, and now they go up a little past the windshield and stop. I was trying to adjust them and the last time I tried this, the right wiper destroyed the left one. They still stop at the top and do not return to neutral. Any ideas on this? Are they stopping at the top because something senses something is wrong, or it knows they are mis-aligned? Am I supposed to just align them better somehow and it will fix this? Edited October 4, 2023 by primerib
