andyross
The mods need to STOP THE SPAM! IF needed, impose post count limits for awhile if simply blocking accounts doesn't work. I was forced to just mark all read as I wasn't going to scroll through hundreds of SPAM posts to find the real ones.
drolds1
The mods have no capacity to stop it. The site runner has to do something. All we can do is flag the spammers, which hides the spam and blocks the source. . But as fast as we do that, they morph and flood us with more. You haven't even seen how much we've gotten, as I usually hide it in the wee hours when I'm the only one awake. We had the same problem on the MKZ Forum. It's been fixed, but not by the Moderators.
bbf2530
Hi andyross. What drolds1 stated. We try to catch it, delete/hide it and flag the spammers (which also bans them) as soon as we see it. But we can't be on 24 hours a day. And unfortunately, we have no ability to stop it before it is posted. Good luck. ?
Fusion Team
We've deleted all of the spam (or are still rooting some out) from the site. We've also implemented preventative measures to stop it from hitting the site. Robert
WKelley
I was a mod in the late 2000's on Tweaktown (PC site) and if you thought this attack was bad, we'd get sustained day after day after day attacks. Thank you mod team!
