Burak Ozcan
Hello Everyone, I have a problem with my 2006 1.4 Diesel Ford Fusion. Today while I was driving the car, I noticed that my speedometer went to zero even though I was at 4th gear, speeding. For 30 seconds I drove like that and later I noticed also that my km indicator erased and there was " - - - " instead of numbers. After that I couldn't throttle the car give any more gas and expectedly it slowed. down to 0. Finally I stopped and changed the gear to neutral. My engine was still working at normal rpm but I couldn't increase the rpm by giving it throttle. It was just dead not getting any gas. After a while the km indicator went back to normal values and only then I could give throttle and speedometer was working fine. This problem occuring me too much nowadays, at least once a day. Have you ever seen a problem like that? I would be more than grateful if you could help me. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, this may not be the best forum to obtain information about your 2006 1.4 Diesel Ford Fusion. Other than name, your Fusion is a completely different vehicle than the U.S./North American Fusion this forum is dedicated to. Yours is a compact 4 door hatchback, while ours is mid-size 4 door sedan. Essentially the same vehicle as the Ford Mondeo, which may also be available where you are probably located. Our U.S. Fusion is not even available with a diesel engine. If another member here can help, I am sure they will jump in to do so. I just did not want you to think your post was being ignored. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
WKelley
If the odometer went to ---- then it sure sounds like a communication issue. You need to get the codes read, there are likely some communication codes in there.
