jcrud113
Noticed that the middle brake light on my 2012 Ford Fusion SE is always on when the lights are on and the brakes arent being aplied. When the lights are off the middle brake light doesn't come on despite applying the brakes. The middle brake light only comes on when I turn on my headlights. Any thoughts as to why this is? Is it that it is wired wrong? And how can I go about fixing this. Been trying to look up how to fix the wiring on the brake lights but so far I haven't found anything. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
Fuser
Check every ground point on the car. Take the connector lose and clean the connector and the area it is connected to. You can have a poor ground at any point on the car and it can cause a problem somewhere else. If that does not solve the problem, then remove the third brake and check it. It could be shorted or corroded inside and have to be replaced.
