stan_2011 Posted March 13 Share Posted March 13 Hello - I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SE. About 70,000 miles on it. The driver seat up/down function recently stopped working (teaching my daughter to drive, and she is 6" shorter than me, so it's been getting some use. Although it was hardly ever used before a couple weeks ago). Other functions work, and I can hear the motor running/grinding. I'm looking at picking up a junkyard replacement, as they are rather inexpensive. My question is: Can I replace the power seat with a manual seat, so that I don't have to worry about the power mechanism breaking again? Looks like 2011 and 2012 would be the same parts?
