Azmiranda
Good afternoon! Happy Eclipse Monday! I own a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium and my mileage is sitting around 95,000. I just started getting the message on my screen when my car is shut off that the battery was shut off to save the life of the battery (something along those lines). I looked it up and I do believe it means the battery is coming to the end of it's life. Is this correct? Any advice or suggestions on places to go or avoid when getting a replacement hybrid battery? What is the approximate cost to replace this battery? The car is still doing awesome with no problems. I have put most of those miles on myself.
dogo88
In the past, these issues were mostly caused by the 12 volt battery needing to be replaced. Your vehicle is around 5 yo so it sounds like it should be replaced. That's the easiest and most economical option.
