mescko
Just got myself a 2011 SE. I've always liked the first gen and 'facelift' Fusions, but never looked seriously at them, because I assumed they weren't going to be offered with manuals. Out of my 10 cars/3 projects exactly one is a slushbox and I am working on a manual swap for it. I only recently found out there were manuals, and I found this one (reconstructed) with 59k. I'm loving it, and will have questions, as it is the newest car I've owned by 8 years (my oldest being 1968). Scott

WKelley
Change the fluid in it yesterday. Make sure you take good care of it. Parts are scarce for the manual and the marts you can find are expensive. I have a 2010 SE with the 6spd manual. It's fun to drive but I find myself wishing it was an auto. I simply got too god of a deal on it, I'm into it for about $5K CAD an it just turn 102K KM (just over 60K miles). I had to replace the output speed sensor for the speedo and the part alone was $400CAD. I still like the fact that there is no auto slushbox to self destruct and my clutch still works/feels perfect. I'm 55 and I drive like it. Great cars!
mescko
So has anyone done any research into what (if any) Mazda 6 parts are compatible? I suspect there aren't enough manual cars left to warrant that kind of time unless you're an anorak like me (who doesn't have the time either). drolds1
Welcome to the FFF, mescko! Perhaps some members with expertise in this area will weigh in. In the meantime, if you enter 'Mazda 6' in the Search box above, you may find some useful information.
