trevor
ALL chips are junk. I bought an Edge Evolution ($500.00) for my 2008 F150 and it didn't make a fuckold bit of difference in hp OR torque on the dyno, even on Level III. All it did was change my xmsn shift points, which made it *feel* a little more ballsy. Steeda makes a lot of claims about their chips too, which are actually SCT chips with a Steeda tune. SCT is another one that's junk on the trucks. I like the claims of the diesel chips. "600hp" but if you read the fine print it says you have to change the fuel pump, (Cummins applications) injectors, turbo's, intake and exhaust to get those gains. All the chip does is change the timing so they belch smoke since they didn't change the aforementioned. They set the chip to 600hp and believe it. ok

Before I got my new sport I was a classic car man I had a 71 cougar and a 76 chevy c30. So I do not know much about chips but I have been thinking about getting a Jet performance MAS. Are they junk too or is it worth getting one? I talked to some people at summit and they said that it lets the computer bring in more air on the intake stroke, but they just want me to buy there parts. I hope you guys can help me with it I would hate to pay 125 buck for junk. Thanks

The Fusion/Milan/MKZ are not choked for air. Without some sort of forced induction (turbocharging or supercharging) there is no need for "more air on the intake stroke". Unfortunately, the highly computer controlled engine management systems of modern cars are not as easily modified as older vehicles. Whatever you decide to do, good luck. :beerchug:
