Green_Fusion Posted December 26, 2005 Share Posted December 26, 2005 Someone at work told me he read somewhere that the fusion explodes when the drivers door is hit. Is this true? It can't be. Last I checked, the gas tank is under the trunk, not where the driver sits, Ha! He hates Ford anyways, he's full of it. Besides he drives a Chrysler, why should I trust him? lol. I'm sure that if the fusion was exploding in crashes, or for that matter, if any new car was exploding, I would be able to find it on the net. But I can't find anything about it. Anybody heard anything? from learning the hard way...I wrote off my 06 I-4 ..24k damage...high speed head on impact..and the car took it so well...got out and walked away completely unhurt...the fusions have fuel cutouts that activate after a medium jolt...so the chances of becoming a crispy kridder....are slim at best.... 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
