The ride quality on my 2010 Fusion has improved greatly. I have better handling around curves and turns, and I did not lose anything in the ride quality. I would definitely recommend the Steeda Springs. If you are going to get some springs you may as well get the best. I did a lot of research prior to buying these springs and I was really impressed with the fact they were developed in conjunction with Ford engineers. Might as well buy a product that was created for the Fusion by 2 reputable companies (Ford and Steeda).

The vehicle was lowered by about an inch or so. It definitely gives it more of an aggressive look. Let me know what you go with!!

I am considering one of 2 set of springs either the Steeda springs or the Eibach Proline kit .. they both lower the same and cost is same so I am wondering if anyone has a pic of the Eibach proline kit installed on 2010 fusion.. and how do u like them?

I have the Steeda springs on a 2010 Sport AWL. I like them a lot, however before you have them installed in an awl sport make sure they will fit over the front strut (measure first). Mine did not, appears the struts are thicker, we had the whole car apart, rears installed and the fronts would not fit over the strut, and the techs at Steeda had gone home. The guy I talked to didn't know what to do, wanted me to return them, we were at the point of no return. My mechanic had to spread the narrow coils hydraulically (no heat) and grind the ends so they did not damage the struts. They seem okay, perfect back to front rake, better than stock ride IMO. I am still having words with Steeda Canada about this

Also installed Steeda CAI, tuner and Magnaflow. Its a sleeper rocket ship. Wheels and tires next, anyone interested in my Sport wheels & tires, 18 x 7.5, Eagles 225 x 45, only 14000 k. Canada, but because they are used there is likely no duty to US and no extra taxes.

PhotoBrainiac- Thanks for the feedback. I wonder if the struts will be the same size on the FWD vs. AWD? That's crazy but I guess they are aware of it now. How do you like the exhaust sound? Was this tips or full cat back? Sounds like you've got a nice setup. For what you have done, what do you feel is the best bang for the buck?

Magnaflow catback..sound great. CAI / tuner / exhaust is the best combo as it opens up the breathing from intake to exhaust and firms up the shift points. You can really feel the power diff. when it gets into the power curve over 2000rpm, really hauls ass. If you just want it to sound better and like the 4" tips, the catback is the answer. Once they "break in" and carbon up a bit the exhaust drone mellows out.

Good luck

Hey, I have a 2010 sport but its FWD drive, do you know if it also is a problem or just with the FWD? I really want to do the springs now I have the

CAI tuner done but not sure if I should take it in to a mechanic or let my dad do it (he knows a lot about cars but I dont want him to do it if its a long or harder project)

Also did you buy the springs and bring them in or did your mechanic buy them? I am trying to figure out the cost of having a mechanic doing the work since I dont have a regular guy that I use/trust.

Thanks for any info/help you can offer!
