I traded off a much loved and well-used '83 Bronco Custom w/300-6, 3-spd OD manual trans, 31" AT's and lock-rite rear end. New ride is a '12 SEL AWD.

What I miss; Going on dirt roads and wheeling through almost anything. Not having car payments. Not worrying about getting my car dirty. Inexpensive car insurance :-(

What I don't miss: road/mechanical noise, body rot repairs, freezing my butt off in the winter, oil leaks on my driveway, pondering the next major repair I needed to do. Unable to have a conversation while driving due to noise(s).

What I can't live without now (that I'm spoilt): Sync, TUNES, comfort, economy, leather, traction control, ABS.

Comparatively, these two vehicles are about as different as two vehicles can be. I'd forgotten what it was like to take a road trip and not be concerned about whether or not I might not make it there or back. I should've done this YEARS ago. Viva la Difference'!

This was my baby for 5 years before I sold her last week to get my 2011 sport. Id say it was quite an upgrade. I can actually hold a conversation now. But the old jeep never let me down and i'll miss her everyday.

2006 wrangler with too many mods and not enough gas mileage. It'll miss everything but a gas station shah.

2011 Ford Fusion SE w/ 2.5 auto. Before that 2004 Jeep Wrangler w/ 3" lift and 33" tires. Loved being able to put the top down, remove the doors and off-road at will but the gas mileage .. about 13 mpg. Needed something that was more practical, hence the 11 Fusion which I was getting around 32 mpg. Hoping for that from the 14 but with the 2.0 and my sometimes heavy foot, I guess will see.

I sold my 2007 Camry XLE for my Fusion, I have to say- I miss the slightly more room in the Camry, I like the steering wheel better on the Camry, and the sliding armrest. Other than that, I love the Fusion!!

I also have seen that the MKZ has a sliding armrest- need to check that out...

I guess in a way my 93 volvo 244. Even though I sold that after I bought my 91 f150. But the Fusion replaced the hole of not owning a car.

I put a lot of work into the Volvo. Manual swapped it, had leather seats from an Amg Mercedes 500sec, Factory Volvo lower kit with decarbon struts/shocks valved correctly to the springs.

I miss not having a manual car and rwd but that's why I have the truck. The volvo was slow (90hp roughly) and didnt get the greatest mileage.

Not traded, but moved to the Far Second Banana position- '99 Subaru Forester S. Car still runs strong even after enduring 200K, and 15 years of Midwestern Winters. Wanted better gas mileage and little more creature comfort; The 2012 SE has really exceeded all expectations! Drives beautifully, sporty for its size and engine, very intuitive controls, awesome fit & finish. I never thought I would enjoy driving a car again as well as my '83 Cutless Supreme Brougham, but this one is right up there. My job provided me a new Camry, which is also a very gorgeous car. However, in my estimation doesn't quite have the same Fun-To-Drive quality to it. More of an appliance if your will in terms of performance. Must admit, though, I really miss the off the line readiness of the all wheel drive. For Safety, had to adjust my method for merging onto busy traffic a bit. Then again, my wallet has also adjusted to being much heavier to, with the Fusion's excellent mileage!

Before I bought my 2015 Fusion in November of 2014, I traded in my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer LT, blue metalic. I loved it. I had to get rid of it cause there were oil leaks in the cylinders and it had high mileage. I drove that suv all over the U.S.

Things I miss: not feeling cramped at times, being higher up, off roading and just driving through gravel and mud and not caring (drove through Monument Valley, it would be difficult for a car now.) 4 wheel drive, roomy storage, sunroof, V6.

Things I won't miss: high mileage and gas mileage.

Things I love about my new Fusion: sync and bluetooth, usb, quiet ride, not having to worry about something breaking down, automatic starter.

Traded my graphite blue metallic (loved that color) 99 Ford Taurus SE with the good v6, not the crappy vulcan. Bought it with 67k on the clock in 2012 for under 2 grand, sold it this year with 153k on the clock for 500 USD.

What I will miss:

The lack of all electronic driving nannies (I had no traction control, no stability control, and no abs)

The interior space, the Fusion feels more cramped to me

Not caring what happens to my car when I leave it in a crowded parking lot

Not having to inspect the car for body damage every time I come out to drive it... or walk past it.

the sound of a DOHC v6 from 3000 rpm- 6000 rpm

What I won't miss:

The dismal driving dynamics, that thing had enough body roll to scare you on the highway going around a gentle curve

The way the thing looked (other than the color, I loved the color) seriously google 99 Ford Taurus and you'll see

The complete inability to get anything higher than 24 mpg no matter how slow you go on the highway

Adding a quart of oil with every tank of gas

Wondering if today is the day my transmission decides to die

What I can't live without

Bluetooth in a car

Global window open

Dat courtesy wipe

Traded a 2010 Mercedes C350 for Fusion Titanium AWD with interior package.

Needed a bigger car and didn't want to spend 70,000 on an E class.

The only thing I miss is the folding outside mirrors.

The only thing I don't like of the Fusion is the throttle body noise in the engine on idle.

I don't miss multiple problems, cost of maintenance, premium gas price, and fighting with Mercedes to honor their warranty.

I haven't yet but I will be giving up my C230 Mercedes for a 15 or 16 awd fusion.

If you are 6 foot, unless you are driving there is nowhere you can sit comfortably with baby seat in the car so I need the extra room.

The C230 not only doesn't have an in dash screen, but to get one I would have to remove the entire console and replace it with a aftermarket. Thats only if I can find an in dash compatible with mercedes.

I wont miss the price of high performance oil, spending $25 a week for gas and the cost of parts.

All that alone will make the payments on my future fusion so i'm looking forward to it.

I came from a 2007 Honda Accord LX

I am glad to be moving away from Honda, and will almost certainly never buy another one again. Which is sad because I have owned 3 Honda to this point and 2 of them were great cars, It's just that Honda of today is not the Honda of the 80's and 90's.

I will miss the manual transmission since I moved to an auto, but since im getting older I am sure the auto is better on my old knee joints anyway.

Most recent cars:

2012 Ford Fiesta SE sedan ---> 2014 Ford Fiesta SE sedan --> 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid

I have a boatload of prior vehicles but these cover 2011 to present. The Fiesta in sig is one my son uses for school and job.

Fiesta sedans, huh? Why'd you spring for the sedans instead of a hatch?
