gene
can you wax right away or does the paint needs to cure more?
Grey
Factory applied paint is cured at high temperatures (before rubber and trim pieces are installed). You may wax it at any time with a quality wax (without any abrasives.) Collision shop paint repiars need from 60-90 days to ensure full cure before wax is recomended.
bbf2530
Hi Gene. :D What Grey stated is 100% correct. You can wax a new car/factory paint job the day you bring the car home. Paint jobs by Collision Repair, Body Shops etc. must be allowed to air cure because they can not be heat cured at high temperatures. Good luck. :beerchug:

No problem, just go ahead and wax it, I used a clay bar on mine after 1 week of owning it then i waxed it using turtle wax ice, i brought it new, and you would be amazed at how it turned out, GREAT is all I can say...
