157k miles. Other than basic maintenance it's been great. Had the struts and shocks replaced yesterday. Still haven't had to replace the brakes (rotors or pads). I don't ride them and slow break. Had to replace one of the front wheel bearings and an oxygen sensor. But otherwise she's running just as good as the day I bought her new. Getting an average of 29.4 mpg (do mostly highway driving).

Bought an 06 SEL in May 2012 with 105K on it. I put 55K on it before it was totaled a few weeks ago. Damn deer and telephone pole. Car gave me zero problems. Absolute pleasure to drive - and I walked awa from this:

Just picked up a 2011 Sport (everything but NAV). Loving it thus far - I have put 400 miles on it, just over 61K.

5 year old 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. 101,000 miles, second set of tires, original brake pads, which look like new, since most stopping is in regen mode. Original 12 volt battery, although getting marginal on capacity (10.3 volts at 100 amp load). Things gone wrong, 2 tire pressure sensors failed and replaced, and one up stream O2 sensor replaced. Left Door handle cracked, I fixed it, no new parts needed. I have only spent about $300 on the car other than for new tires and oil/filter changes. I do my own maintenance. I intend to drive the car for 300,000 miles. Average FE so far 40.3 mpg. I love the car, fun to drive, very smooth ride. The navigation system has raised my standard of living for finding places, Sync works great. Based on fleet data, the nickel metal hydride high voltage battery should make 300k miles. I have saved $7700 on gas so far compared to the Ford Explorer I drove before. I did not buy any extended warranty, and I haven't needed it.

I've had a few recalls that have needed fixing. I have a current water issue. Water under Driver seat and not sure where it's coming from.

But all in all no issues. Only issue I've had is with the local Ford dealership that we've had to deal with.

When you say 3 years old, is it out of the the 3/36 warranty? Water on the floor could be an expensive ventilation system seam leak, that you need to get taken care of on the warranty. If you took it in for that during the warranty period you should be covered.

Ironically my warranty ends today 12/21/15. Will be on the phone with Ford as soon as they open.

That's not acceptable. Drive to your favorite Dealer in the afternoon when they are least busy, and ask them to write up a service order to fix your leak. They don't have to do it today. You need to get it on the record in the warranty period. Could be worth hundreds of dollars. I am positive I could do this at either of the closest Ford dealers to me. Ford will work with you but you may have to be assertive on this.

Bought my 2006 Fusion SE with 241,000 in August 2012. Paid $4,900 Now have 313,000 on it. Been a great car. Total cost of ownership. very low, Approx. $.25/Mile figuring very little resale value. Slow oil leak now. I think it is a timing cover. Numerous really small issues that come with a high mileage vehicle but nothing major except the oil leak.

Rolled over 200,000 miles last week on my '10 Fusion SE MT (bought new in 2010) No major issues. Still on original clutch, front brakes. Changed coolant last week (first time). Change plugs every 70k. Broke serpentine belt @ 110k. Change oil & filter every 5k. Tires every 60k.. PCV every 40k.

 

Great car, I hope I get another 100k out of it!

Had a 2011 Fusion SE that I bought two years ago with 37,000 miles on it. It got totaled in a collision with a snow plow blade at 65. (Blade won, right front corner of the car lost).

 

Replaced it with a 2013 Tuxedo Black SE with 30,000 miles at the beginning of March. Up to 36,500 already. I love my Darth Vader sedan (as my 5 yr old daughter calls it).

 

Funniest thing is the 2013 was owned by a funeral home before I got it. They took exquisite care of it. I did, however find in the trunk....................... 3 golf balls. ;)

 

Edit:

Additional question, when did Ford switch away from the touch panels for buttons (my map lights you touch the light and the door off and such are touch pads not buttons) and when did they change the turn signal stalk to stay down (or up) and not return to center? I assume they did these changes to save money...

I'm at 126K miles, and 7 years this August. So far for repairs I have spent $77 on an oxygen sensor, and that's it. The OBDII code reader told me which sensor to replace. Normal maintenance is an oil change every 10K miles, and new tires once. Original brake pads, which still have a lot of life left in them. This is the most reliable car I have ever had. I did have to clean my throttle body once, after getting an engine light and code that told me the throttle plate was sticking. But being a retired mechanical engineer, I cleaned it myself, with carb cleaner and a popsicle stick, it was not that hard. Definitely easier than working on carburetors back in the day. I have saved $9400 in gas, compared to the Explorer I used to have, which only got 20 mpg average. I keep complete fill up data, mileage, costs and gallons of gas.

I am now at 497,431 Km on my 2007 Fusion SEL V6 and the car is still fantastic! Very few repairs and nothing major. I hope to have it for many more years.

Wow, that is pretty good. I just traded in my 2007 SE with V6 Sport appearance package. I hit the magic 200,000 Km and it was time for a change. The car still ran good. I did have to replace the fuel injectors a couple of years back as well as the main computer. Besides that only normal ware and tare items.
