BlueGooSE12
2.5L automatic is kinda gutless in the lower gears .... but once you get up to speed, plenty of power to move the car around.
head4trauma
Only had the car a week or so but a couple things strike me so far. Car seems to steam up easy and does not disapate easily. Cannot Rest my arm on rest (usual position for me) if there is a regular size pop in the holder driver or passenger. Something is urking me about the trunk door but I have not put my finger on it yet. Rubber seals seam sloppy to me finished at odd angles an overlapped loose they look like a snag waiting to happen. Overall I love the car - the above is a little trite I suppose. I have the 2016 SE, same issue with the drink holder. BUT, awesome solution. (for me anyway) The driver side door has a holder that is on an angle. Reach down, it's right there and the angle means I get it in there and out without a problem every time. I had to get used to it, but perfect.

hermans
MFT, looks so pretty, is so useless. I hear sync3 is much better. I've had 5 vehicles with MFT/MLT and have had zero issues. I also have a 2016 with Sync 3 and I've had to reboot it several times. This vehicle has 600 miles on it and I'm going to have the dealer take a look at it.
msman2016
Just picked up my beautiful 2017 Fusion SE-upgraded from a 2013... One trick I had JUST picked up in the 2013--to cancel a permanent/mistaken lane change, just double tap on the signal arm--and --voila--no more signal-- this is no longer an option on the 2017--for shame... Otherwise, the new vehicle is so smooth and quiet, it's almost ghostly!! Can't wait to see how it wears in--hopefully slowly and "uneventfully".

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Fan assembly might need replacement? Do you have auto climate control and do you keep it on MAX A/C? TXFRDOwner
Fan assembly might need replacement? Do you have auto climate control and do you keep it on MAX A/C? Regardless of what setting I have it on, that thing is just running high and loud. I've read on other forums where the guy took his car to the dealer back and forth for 4-5 months and they finally figured out it was a BCM programming error, where the BCM was looking for certain components in the car (that weren't installed on his model) and was trying to compensate for it by running the fan on high constantly. Another guy said his was just replacing the cabin air filter. ... That's my first stop when I get off the road (I travel for work). I'll change the cabin air filter and see if that makes a difference. But it could also be something totally different. I just hate going to the close-by Stealership. Their customer service sucks and I have very little to no faith in their mechs/techs. I might have to drive a little bit further.
Silvershot
The only thing I really don't like is the blinker volume - way too loud. Otherwise I loved my '16 SE and love my '17 Titanium even more.
kennycoulter
all with my 2013 titanium AWD:I had the stalling issue, but it is finally fixedI like the look of my wheels, but they are so flush with the tires, they curb VERY easily. The trunk lid is usually hard to work around. The trunk lid still falls while parked on a hill (after having the larger or re-indexed rods replaced at my own expense). The low tone horn gave out a few months ago.Wears out rear brakes quickly (I am told that the escapes do the same, but no reason why).My rear view mirror did not auto-dim ONCE.The overall brake feel is ridiculously !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unpredictable, which makes it unsafe for others to move or borrow my car.The radio display has messed up a few times, but nothing long term.Hard to change your own oil with the underbody plates there and no home lift.My cruise buttons are starting to work intermittently.NOW, as of a few days ago, my hood latch lever will not function.I have over 100,000 miles on mine, need to change the belts and other typical maintenance. I changed the spark plugs a little early (70,xxx miles?) to try to correct a sometimes rough idle. It is doing it worse recently. I am on my second set of tires. The motor mounts and suspension feel a little softer than before. ALL of this would be typical with mileage. The interior in mine still looks phenomenal. The shape and look of the vehicle is great. ALL of the dings and scratches are from OTHER people. Any other problem that I can find is due to previous bodywork that occurred before I bought it at 23,xxx miles.
ClaveMan
Short rant.. 1. Adaptive Cruise with Stop and Go On my 2017 Fusion Platinum Hybrid I am terrified I am going to plow into someone because the "Adaptive Cruise with Stop and Go" is OFF when I think it is ON, and vice versa. The little "smaller than a dime" indicator in the far lower left corner is not assertive enough and hard to see when driving into the sun. There should be a tone when I turn adaptive cruise off and a similar tone when I turn it on. There should be small/inconspicuous but reassuring heads-up display (dot or whatever) anytime the car is in a mode where the computer controlled braking is ON. Stop and Go could not be better - but a more aggressive tone when the car needs me to hit RES would be nice. 2. BLIS I don't feel BLIS is assertive enough. I have a hard time telling colors and the Amber is difficult to see in daylight for me. I wish I could have an option to turn on a LOUD tone when I turn on my signal and a car is there. The flashing light is almost useless to me during daytime. Maybe I am missing a setting.
akirby
Why would you need to turn adaptive cruise off and on? I haven't turned mine off since I drove it off the lot. Leave it on - problem solved. I don't understand how you can't see the bright yellow dot in the mirror - if not by color then by position. I'm afraid there isn't any other option for that.
2ndNewFordGuy
My biggest WTF was the "Luxury package" (if not the "technology package") REALLY should have included "ambient lighting" ("warm interior accents" ARE SO NOT the same thing, NOT TO IMPLY anyone told me they were) To be honest I'm not really sure wtf they're talking about with "warm interior accents" I just know what they ARE NOT. I'm going to light my foot-wells, and doing so and having it NOT look tacky is going to be a JOB. I'd LIKE to have them come on with all the other lights that come on when you open or close a door and then go off automatically. But I may have to settle for a manually switched LEAD tapping off the center console 12 volt cig-lighter outlet. Removable REAR deck would have been super sweet. Warm interior accents usually refers to replacing the metal or brightly painted interior trim pieces with wood or similar finish (metal being "cold", wood being "warm").
2ndNewFordGuy
they must have fixed this. I already topped my reservoir off and don't recall any such issue. (2017)
2ndNewFordGuy
OK, thanks, that makes sense. Mine is supposed to have "warm interior accents" and there's definitely no "wood-grain-like" trim in sight, but there IS some light-soft-grey trim where others may have something more chrome-like. (around the center instrument panel and the door handle assys.)

An update: My hood release was broken more, but by some service techs that wouldn't let me open the hood myself. On that same day: The fuel door "broke" I guess this is something typical with the trucks, that they only have a pin that pushes through the assembly, then the bottom or top has a press-on one-way spring-steel washer....that falls off and lets the thing hang by one hinge hole, while a spring retains the rest of the assembly(?). The trucks are easier to repair, but I haven't figured out how to get to my assembly yet. My rear view mirror and side mirrors got stuck on the auto dimmer one time, and the center console stayed blacked out another time. I am now at 106,xxx miles.
confused ford owner
To much glare from sunlight prevents reading of dash board controls. The control that directs the air is not calibrated right. When i choose the floor vents, the air comes out on the floor but also the dashboard vents. What i don,t like about future ford vehicles is the new Dial Shift for the trans. Women may like it, i don,t know, but it just seems awkward and very breakable. It's far less "breakable" than a mechanical lever. I have push buttons in our MKX and they work even better. Like anything else you get used to it. I do like to rest my hand on the lever while driving (which I do in my F150) but even switching back and forth it's not an issue. One advantage (on the MKX at least) is that it will put it in park automatically when you turn it off.

Lit Logistics
I wish my 2017 hybrid had a little bit more power. Even with ECO mode off, it doesn't perform as well as a Prius. I got the Hybrid Fusion for its looks and gas mileage, not so much performance...so I shouldn't be complaining. BUT I AM. LOL ?
