ClaveMan
After three years in my 2017 Fusion Hybrid the only things I don’t like are 1 how the brakes “Grab” sharply when the car has been sitting in wet weather. try teaching a 15 year old to dry the brakes by starting and stopping carefully (in no traffic) 4-5 times to get brakes back to normal. 2. Wish there was an audible tone when I turn on turn signal and a car is in blind spot. I can’t see das blinking light !
Ponyguy
What DON'T I like about my Fusion? Hmmm... I like pretty much everything about the car... BUT... The 2019 was substantially cheapened from the 2018 model year. Lots of features were removed or reduced in prominence from earlier model years. Let me toss out a few examples... The Platinum model was cast aside, leaving the Titanium as the top dog. The accelerator and brake pedals on the higher trim models lost the metal trim, leaving a plain black rubber pedal set. The hood lost its insulation and side gasketing... the rear doors lost their insulation, too. The interior upholstery color selection has suffered; the 2017 & 2018 Platinum models offered the lovely "almost-white leather" with the quilted trim... the Titanium now offers only "Black" or "Halloween" (Ford calls it "Russet," but I know "Orange" when I see it.) The seats look the same color as a basketball. The 120 Volt convenience outlet is gone. The power-adjustable steering column os reduced to manual control. Fog lights are only available on the Titanium edition... they're not even available as an option on the lower levels. I'm sure there are other tweaks done to reduce the vehicle cost, but they escape my mind at the moment. To Ford's credit, they did increase the traction battery capacity from 7.5KW to 9 KW, increasing the electric-only range for 2019.
Deejay
Bought a 2014 for my wife and she fawned all over it. When the dealership called 3 years later to upgrade, I sayed "Hell YEAH" however none of the 2017's had the usual side mirror signal lights, OR the unique signal cancel system on the stalk. I was pretty bummed, but I soon got over it, and just got used to missing stuff I always end up liking. Life's like that...
rbelote86
My 2016 Fusion SE rear plate has those 2 stupid rubber bumpers for the bottom of the plate, but I want them gone. I pulled them out only to find a ROUND opening, and NOT a square one like I thought. Anyone have any ideas on parts like a nylon screw piece that'll fit in there? Every one I've found is SQUARE! Idea? I just want to put 4 screws on my rear plate, as opposed to 2 and those stupid rubber pieces. Every time I open/close the trunk it rattles like CRAZY. Granted, I haven't measured the width of the hole yet.

Ponyguy
Mr.Rbelote86, I had that same problem/concern on my 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis... the license plate would rattle with every bump in the road, or slam of the trunk. I thought the design (using two rubber bumpers) was kind of cheesy for a near-luxury automobile. So, I went to an auto parts store and found a license plate mounting kit with some square plastic (Nylon?) gizmos that would accept a sheet metal screw. These gizmos required a square hole, but they simply snapped into that square hole. A square hole is necessary to prohibit the gizmo from rotating when you tighten the mounting screw; so, I used a small jeweler's file and "squared" the round hole in the trunk lid, pushed the plastic gizmo into the hole, and the rest is history. A tip: Hold a small vacuum nozzle adjacent to the hole when you file it to catch the filings, so they don't cause rust later on. And, go to Lowe's and get appropriate-sized stainless steel screws so they don't rust or corrode.

NCEcoBoost
Other than the possibility of an engine replacement, I'd have to say interior room and access issues. At 6'3", I find it somewhat difficult to enter and exit the vehicle with the seat at my desired height; requires lots of ducking. With the drivers seat back in my desired position, there is virtually no rear legroom behind it. Side windows are also kinda small.
