Dyoct
LOL and 240HP...go Dodge! I only partially kid, my future in law is a senior VP for DCX. Hopefully she'll stick around so I can get a discount on a Viper someday.
svtenthusiast
I can't believe we haven't heard already if there was really going to be a performance version for '08. Usually news like this would leak out by now. I am still waiting but would like to buy something soon.

If there is it will be announced at the New York Auto Show next month.

Dyoct
I'm pretty impressed that nothing has been leaked out of the Ford Showroom of Tomorrow from months ago. Ford is notorious for leaks. :shades: Take out the V and what do you have left?
Double Vision
If this version was available I would purchase it tomorrow!!
Meelaan
If this version was available I would purchase it tomorrow!! Looks like an AMC AMX mated with a M-B SLK. I like it, but it's not a viable product considering Ford's current predicament. I think it's hard to even make an argument for a Fusion coupe, much less a performance model of such a car... but, yes, it would be a very nice option to have available (even Nissan recently admits the mid-size coupe market is there by introducing the uniquely styled Altima coupe this year).
Sir Charles
They need to make the SVT version with the 3.0L version.
robertlane
The 2009 Fusions will have more power. I would LOVE to see 3.5L in there.
