yes my first accident of 2011.. rear-ended by an 09 accord in traffic last night. as usual i must say how well this car holds up (with boring regularity) the bumper is pretty bashed and my left exhaust pipe is bent but that compares to the hondas hood being bent in half, bumper broken and grille smashed out i'll take it.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Sounds like you are OK and that's what's most important. I feel your pain, I was just sick last summer when an SUV backed into my front end in a hotel parking lot.

yea i'm fine which is all that matters. i must say this car does its job well. i got hurt once (09) when a SUV rear-ended me much harder than this guy did. the driver was stoned out of his mind and never hit his brakes in traffic. but otherwise its nothing a body shop can't fix

i did look under my car today and the whole exhaust is junk. the left tail pipe is bent and he hit it so hard the control arm bolt punched a hole in the pipe, the midpipe is cracked (noise) and the front pipe is bent. we'll see how the bodywork comes out i guess :o/ i do feel bad for this car!!

  • 4 weeks later...

A few years back got rear-ended in Reno. The damage was pretty extensive, the stupid driver just drove off....mom was sitting in the backseat though and she was just fine. I think it's a very safe car. Got it repaired and it was like it never gotten hit. The trunk leaked though and had to get that fixed too. The car is still awesome though. If it wasn't for the extra cash, we woulda traded it in for a new Ford Fusion. But we didn't and still love the car
