CoachAP
I bought my fusion in March and the dealer never gave me my owners manual. So, I have NO information for my car and especially the key pad code, located on the drivers door. Does anybody know how I can obtain this code so I can reset it?

It should be on a white sticker somewhere under the dash on the driver's side, either above the brake pedal or near the fuse box next to the door. Might be hard to find. You can also take it to a dealer who can look it up for you although it may cost you a little.
mcgsxr
There are 2 codes for that entry thingee. 1 - stock from the factory - cannot be reset as far as I know - this is the one that you may be able to find with some hunting around the cabin. 2 - a code that you (and perhaps the prior owner) can set - if you Google up the owners manual, I am sure there are places that describe the process for resetting this code to something you can choose. I bought my 2009 used, and have reset the codes, but just put the stock factory code in my Blackberry, so I can get in without the keys! Sample how to reset the codes found here

Which you can only do if you have the original factory code, which was the original problem.
Fusionpursuit
Mine came on a white card under the plastic cover of the manual jacket, that was only location which they informed me of where the original code was. but since you do not have the jacket cover or manuals, then it may be a problem
twiggy144
I also own a 2010 Taurus. When I bought it, the seller didn't have the master code. On this Taurus, the 5 numeric digit code is printed on a white label, sticked on some plastic box under the dash driver's side. It took me less than 10 seconds to find it. I cant see the Fusion being different than the Taurus: there must be a sticker somewhere under the dash.

I went and looked high and low and found no label pointing to a code or anything under the dash. However I did find some left pieces of masking tape from Mexico I found old thread and it does not look very obvious "HERE is the code ---->" looks almost as if its just a serial number http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?/topic/1688-keypad-factory-code/ Edited June 29, 2011 by Fusionpursuit
